Trigard dealers are "going green"

Many Trigard dealers are no longer disposing their liner pallets. Instead, they are returning them to be reused.

Not only are dealers helping the environment, but they are also earning a rebate.

Since the program started in 2010. In the past year and a half our dealers have returned nearly 900 pallets. That's more than $6,500 in rebates!

Trigard is constantly striving to be a little more "green".

The battle of price versus value

Have you ever asked yourself what makes you decide to change brands or suppliers?

As consumers, we are targeted daily to change our thought patterns and to focus on new brands and products being offered.

The things we see value in are often the same things our customers do. Thinking that all customers are solely price driven is often furthest from the truth.

Many times, customers don't choose the cheapest price; they choose the product or brand that gives them the best bang for the buck!  They choose what they believe to be the best value.

When I make a large purchase, cheapest doesn't get it. For me, value wins every time! Does value prevail for you and your customers? Tell me by posting your story on our Facebook page.

Handley Precast Systems honors Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew

Handley Precast Systems was honored to help memorialize the 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew who lost their lives in Arizona fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 20, 2013.

With Trigard's help, Handley Precast provided lined, sealed, Trigard burial vaults for this brave crew, who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect others.

We applaud Steve and Kelly Handley for their efforts to give the Granite Memorial Hotshot Crew a dignified farewell.

Ideal Burial Vault Plant Cerification

Ideal Burial Vault is proud to announce they have been awarded NCBVA plant certification. Greg Tilley explained why he decided to seek certification. "Some of my competitors are certified, and customers have asked about it. Everyone knows we make the strongest vaults in the area. So we decided to get the official certification to put it in writing."

As expected, the Estate™ passed with flying colors and showed no hairline cracking. In addition to receiving the certification itself, Greg shared how surprised he was to learn so much about vaults in general as well as some of the technical aspects of vault manufacturing. Congratulations Ideal Burial Vault and Greg Tilley.

Are we suppliers or partners?

Jeff Miller, VP Business Development
All businesses have suppliers that sell them products. However, not all business are fortunate enough to have what they consider to be business partners.

Suppliers are typically responsible for taking orders, delivering products and handling basic customer service issues. Partners do all of that and more. They act as consultants by familiarizing themselves with their clients' businesses through regular meetings and sales calls. Partners constantly evaluate and look for ways to improve their relationships.

As a partner, it is much easier to get involved in your clients' business decisions and planning. You have earned the respect to ask the hard questions and suggest solutions. Clients trust you and are much less likely to shift business away from you versus someone who is "just a supplier."

At Trigard, we understand that partner status is earned over time. We encourage you to become a business partner with each of your customers. We assure you that our goal is to be your partner, not just your supplier.

Chesapeake facilities impress Trigard dealers; Sales Awards

Trigard dealers were impressed by a tour of Chesapeake Burial Vault in Barclay, Maryland. Many dealers listed it as one of the highlights of the entire convention.
